(EGMN) The Food and Drug Administrations Psychopharmacologic Drugs Advisory Committee voted on April 8 that quetiapine fumarate is safe as an adjunctive therapy for major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder, but not as a stand-alone treatment for GAD and only in certain instances as a stand-alone therapy for MDD.
